FAQs

+ ARE THE CLASSES OPEN LEVEL?
Our classes are challenging and demand a lot from the body. That being said, we welcome all levels to come and try out a class. We have a “do what you can” philosophy. Our teachers will offer modifications and adjustments as needed. Our unheated classes are the most accessible to beginners, as they eliminate the intensity of the heat.

-
+ DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

-
+ CAN I TAKE A CLASS IF I’M PREGNANT?
For the safety of both mom and baby, we do not permit pregnant clients to participate in our heated classes. Our studios reach approximately 100°F, and exercising in high heat can raise core body temperature and increase the risk of overheating and dehydration. Because maternal overheating is a recognized concern during pregnancy, we follow ACOG guidance recommending that pregnant women avoid hot Pilates, hot yoga, and exercise that may cause overheating. We encourage expecting clients to stay active in a non heated environment with guidance from their healthcare provider.
-
+ HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TAKE CLASSES TO SEE RESULTS?
Humans were meant to run, jump, lift and carry. We should be moving everyday. Our highly varied programming was designed to offer you a comprehensive workout, including strength, cardio, mobility, and breathing and meditation. This allows you to design a program that is right for your needs and goals and means you can take class multiple days in a row. We recommend listening to your body and making sure to take a day off every now and then for recovery. We also recommend staying hydrated, feeding your body right and getting good sleep!
